Project Scope
This freelance project was commissioned by author Katie Ward. She wanted colorful, easy to follow illustrations for her children's book that she wrote called 'Milo in the Middle'.
Inspiration
The author Katie Ward approached me for this book because she enjoyed my illustrative style and wanted me to use it for her story that she wrote. With my illustrative style, I pulled all inspiration from my own life of when I grew up in rural Oklahoma. Between the bright barns, crazy farm animals and shaded ponds, you can see a corner of Oklahoma inspiration on every page!
